WriterFish, aka Susannah Fisher, has been writing most of her life. At the age of 13, she got a taste of writing cooperatively when she and her best friend began to write a serialized novel together. It was an excellent lesson in balancing the vision of multiple writers, finding a common voice, and never forgetting the writer's (or in this case writers') responsibility to the reader.
Her professional career began in the 1990s with a staff writing job at a trade magazine. She's been working steadily as a writer for the duration with a brief career change to book conservator before resuming her writing career. She has written copy for museums, university publications, a music school, and more in California and the Mid-Atlantic region (New York, Delaware, Pennsylvania). Along the way, she picked up a post-graduate certificate in Digital Media Design (a fancy-schmancy way of saying graphic and web design).
Currently working as a part-time publicist for a library, she continues to freelance as a writer, designer and social media virtual assistant.
